Root Used phone with CM7 -Need help!

I bought a used Triumph from Swappa.com recently and it came with CM7 already loaded on it. The phone worked perfectly, but I couldn't do a hardware switch myself, so I went to Best Buy's mobile phone section for help. I spent over an hour with the associate trying to sync my new phone, but my plan refuses to recognize the phone.
My plan has been changed to accommodate the smart phone (my old phone was not). My old phone has already been taken off the plan. The associate thinks that my new phone will not sync because of CM7 and tried to do a factory restore, but it never booted back up after about an hour (he said it should take no longer than 25-30 minutes, I gave it some extra time) so I popped the battery out and tried to turn the phone back on.
It is now in what I've been told is a boot loop. It loads the Google logo and stays on it until the battery dies or the battery is taken out. I was able to go from the Google logo to the debug menu, but any option I choose takes me back to the Google logo. What did I do? What can I do?

Gotta be on stock to authorize new account.
Boot into clockwork mod (phone off, hold power and both volumes until it boots CWM) and try to restore a backup of stock ROM.
If there isn't one, you can download one here and you'll be in business.

(Best Buy dude was right, but he shouldn't have had you wipe it without something to go back on it)
