I have a lenovo le phone (wich I HATE so much, what a POS) and someone offered me to give me a brand new wildfire S HTC.

Are you happy with it? Is it a good smarty?

Also what is the best OS you can get?
I want something STABLE and functional, I dont care for fancyness and top notch skins and such.

Thanks in advance for your feebacks guys....

i'd really like the Wildfire if it wasn't for the fact only having 150mb internal memory blows. I am a fairly heavy phone user so battery life is half a day for me and I don't have anywhere near the amount of apps I was running with my LG. haven't found a custom rom thats been hetter than the factory installed. not really a good point but most developers avoid due to internal memory lack there of.

The lack of internal memory as cayaenator points out is a pain, but otherwise I am very pleased with my Wildfire. The battery usually lasts me a good day, sometimes two with light use but once you get in to the mind set of charging it every night I don't find that a problem. HTC Sense is a good, if slightly heavy overlay but I love the way it pulls in all my contacts from Google, Google+, FaceBook and Twitter in to one place. I say heavy as, with a modest 600MHz processor it can lag at times - nothing major but the phone isn't always 'snappy' and it won't cope with big games either. But on the whole, this is a great phone. Good build quality, doesn't feel plasticy as some phones in the same bracket can.

I really like my WFS and have never regretted purchasing it. I intended to root it from the start and have enjoyed trying out the various ROMs available for it. It does everything I need in an Android phone, and it's a great compact size. With all my apps installed, I presently 94 MB free with Link2SD. My processor is overclocked and I don't have any lag.

Bottom line: You must root to get the most out of this great little device.
