I'm just curious what the top reason for people to root their phone is? What is the first thing you do after you root your phone?
For me, I just rooted my phone today for the first time. I've been an Android user since day 1 with the G1 but I never really felt the need to root my phone (they all did everything I wanted without bothering).
I guess I finally did it when I saw the news that the Bionic will probably not get ICS... and now I figure.. what the hell? Nothing really to loose. All I've done so far is install Titanium and gotten rid of a lot of bloatware which has bothered me since day one. That felt good.
I'm going to take it slow.. but I'm curious what everybody's top root activities to do with a Bionic are? I don't think I'm going to get into custom ROMs just yet. I need my phone to be 100% function all the time... so I don't want to start getting into bugs.. and backing up and reflashing etc. Not yet at least. Maybe when the phone gets older and I need to squeeze more life out of it. Right now, I still love this phone and don't have many complaints.
