I tried flashing the Netflix HD apk from XDA and although it flashes and opens, as soon as I go to play a video, it pops up the "a newer version is available" message. If I try to install that, it tells me my device isn't compatible. Is there any way to turn off this update check so I can at least watch something?

I'm running netflix fine on my aokp. What IS netflix hd? Curious.

edit: just looked it up. I couldn't tell the difference in the comparison stills. Blame it on my age. ;)

It was a version of the app that had HD support. I'd be fine with SD if it worked. I'm using a custom LCD density, but I set it back to 320 and cleared the market data but it still showed as not being compatible. :(

i believe it was the original netflix hd apk that came out before all the builds for it were established, you would need to uninstall it, reinstall the market version, then open applications menu, go to the netflix app, and wipe the data and cache from it, and it should open then

I can't install the market version, that's the problem. It says my device isn't compatible or whatever...
