Zagg Shield slips and slides on the glass

I wonder, does anybody else have this problem?

I am an experienced user of Zagg Shields. I have placed them on 10 different electronic devices that I own with very good results so I am not a noob when it comes to installing them correctly.

On the glass of the Galaxy Nexus the shield slowly creeps and slides when pushed with a finger or when rubbing against a wallet inside a pocket, ect. The warmer it is, the more pronounced this effect becomes. When it's cold it moves very slowly but when it is warm it can readily be pushed over the edge of the glass. I have already installed number 2, thinking I had a bad one, but the new one does the same thing. I have not had this problem with any other devices that I have installed a Zagg Shield on.

Perhaps there is something about the kind of glass on the Gnex that is not well compatible with the Zagg Shield.

Has anybody else had this issue?

I almost exclusively used Zagg shields an my devices until about 2 months ago. I started to notice on my Nexus that the edges, particularly the top, were starting to peel off and like you, the wormer the Nexus got I then started to feel it slightly move, although this was not as pronounced as yours. I got fedup replacing the Zagg for this adhesion problem. Moved over to Martin Fields and must say that I'm impressed. I had to remove the screen shield for some other reason, washed it and reapplied it - no problem and like new.

I now use it an all of my Devices including the Galaxy Nexus with excellent results.

Ive installed a ton of these since my original droid and love the zagg. Best is to install in an area dust free and have a little humidity, otherwize any dust under there kicks up some ocd in me :). You really have to soak the phone and screen shield, and be patient and very gentle working out the solution. Soaked as to the point of being worried about liquid getting in the ear piece, etc. Then you can slide it easily to line up if you hadnt from the get go. The sliding problem happens more if youve worked out the solution and arent happy with the alignment or whatever, pull it and reapply. Once youve pulled one and reapplied it, its never really the same. PS. My only irritation with zagg are the bad batches they get from time to time. Youll see shimmery lines, or shimmery like streaks in brighter areas of the screen. Thats not the install, its a production problem.

I have noticed that Zagg and a few other companies are still using some of the older materials. I just tried a new company call Android Shields that has a thats product is clearer ans also does not turn yellow.

I have never experienced your issue. Maybe its the older material?
