I received my Hyperion black matte TPU case from Amazon. It was $8.99. Nice sleek case that keeps form of Razr Maxx. I also have an Otterbox Defender for work carry.

Those Cruzer Lite cases look pretty nice. Are the grippy enough to hold, but not too grippy is get snagged while putting into and taking out of your pocket? I loved my Body Glove case, but it was difficult getting it into and out of the pocket.

Thanks Spydaz. Bert I just picked up that Diztronic case and it was delivered yesterday. It's a nice case, but I don't see that it's going to provide too much of a protective value. I got it, because I wanted something that will allow the phone to slip easily in my pocket and this one does. It does add some minimal amount of protection, but don't expect too much from it.

No prob man. Its an awesome case and I HATE bulk. Lol. This case is truly svelte compared to all the others.,

Oh, I absolutely agree. That's why I still have it on mine. I'm still getting used to pocket-carrying my Maxx, as I've been a belt-clip carry person forever.

for those who like the Seidio case for the maxx will be glad to know bestBuy has the same cases as Seidio but under the name "Platinum" for a lot less money. I found the razar, ( not the maxx) was only $34.99 instead of $49.99. I am waiting for the maxx now.

I just got a 3 CruzerLite cases for Razr Maxx on Amazon. They were buy two get one free. I love it.. Very sleek and fits tight. But the best news ever is that there is FINALLY a dock for Android that works with a case on. I now have two of the Motorolla HD docks for Razr Maxx. It comes with a plate you can use for different phones, but without any plate it works perfect on the phone with the case on!! Yippee!!

Got my Cruzer Lite case in black. Shame on me for missing the "high gloss" part of the description. It looks way to "bling bling" for my tastes. It's too shiney, like a womens purse or something. It also attracts fingerprints on the gloss finish. Overall, I think it's a pretty good case, but I'm not into the high-gloss thing. So, for now, my Diztronic black-matte case will stay on.

Got the Seidio Active from Amazon for $31 shipped....black and white. It has the black silicone skin with a thin white poly shel that grips both corners. It looks very sharp and will provide adequate protection.

I think the Otterbox Defender and Trident Kraken are a bit overkill. Unless you're working construction where you have the thing exposed to outdoor elements, I don't think you need anything that bulky.

Wow, I am incredibly pissed with how crappy the Seidio "Surface" case is. Quality doesn't come anywhere close to their case I had for my Eris. For every family member who gets a new phone, I tell them to buy a seidio case. Not recommending them anymore. Absolutely not worth the $30. I've had better $2 swap meet cases. Wondering if amazon sent me a knockoff. The "soft touch" (should feel like felt) material is sticky, ordinary plastic.

I'm sorry to hear that! We have worked to maintain and improve our quality standards. Our cases still have a soft-touch coating, so it shouldn't feel like sticky, ordinary plastic. Feel free to DM more information about where you purchased it from.

You can also e-mail a picture to forum@seidio.com and we can check to see if it is knockoff. Either way, it may be best to return or get a replacement from Amazon.

What are some good aluminum cases out there? I've had a e13ctron S4 on my iphones for the last couple years and it makes everything feel cheap now(even the iphone when its naked)

I just got this last week and am pretty happy with it, slimmest clip on case I've had on a phone. I'm not a clip on person but having the screen fully covered is great when throwing it in the motorcycle bag.

That's a shame that you're no longer liking that case. I happen to love it. It's the only case I've found so far that allows for inward screen carry, protecting it well when in the belt holster. If you're not a belt carry person, it still offers some level of protection vs. a naked Maxx. For me, the kickstand is an added bonus/feature that I don't use all that much.

I am looking for a case that has the power and volume buttons covered because I find the buttons a little hard to push being that they are almost flush with the phone. Does anyone have a good recommendation for this issue?

Also, I want some protection like the silicone cases Verizon has but minimal bulk so that it will still fit in my pocket of my purse. Thanks!!
