Has anyone found a way to have dynamic text reflow when zooming (double tap or pinch/zoom) in any browser on this tablet. I'm use to that with my previous tablet running CM 7 and using Dolphin HD. Tried stock browser, ICS browser +, and Dolphin and don't seem to be able to get it to work.

Ok, you should note that the web site design has a lot of influence over this. CSS (style sheet) rigid control over some web sites (a developer deficiency) can prevent certain web sites from behaving as you would like when zoomed. The fix is to either completely disable style sheets (possible in Firefox) or to use a browser plugin that allows you to override certain style sheet and other formatting attributes used by the site developer. Some will allow you to pick and choose which attributes to honor and which to ignore.

There are a lot of poorly developed corporate web sites out there that demonstrate many developers clearly are unaware of W3C standards. CSS has compounded the problem.

But the fact that the browsers all work fine doing this on most smartphones, it seems annoying that they don't on the tablet.

Certain strictly CSS coded web pages exhibit the same behavior on the android phone. To say "all work fine", as in all inclusive, is absolutist rhetoric.

After reading the thread author's post again, it seems as though certain Android screen gestures are handled differently on that tablet. An app is going to behave a specific programmed way to input received without regards to operating platform. From the app's point of view, different input is received - command via touch gesture, which is perhaps a setting within the tablet. None the less, there will always be certain web sites that will not text wrap as desired on a CSS compliant browser.

I think resolution for the author will result in determining why the browser app on his tablet is "hearing" a different instruction to the same screen touch gesture that results in the desired behavior on his phone.

I don't think that the problem with browsers not reflowing the text isn't a problem with the Website. It"s something else. This forum site is a good example. When using Dolphin HD with my Samsung Infuse, I could pinch to zoom and then double tap. That kept the text the same size but the text reflowed so that no side to side scrolling was necessary. However, even though I'on the same site and using the same browser, the double tap does not work on either the Galaxy Tab 10.1 or the Galaxy S3. On those devices, double tapping reduces the zoom level to make the entire width of the display page.
