How many computers or devices are in your home right now?

I sell my old stuff too. I do wish we could buy another laptop. the ultrabooks look awesome to me.

I usually sell my old stuff when I upgrade also.

I am trying to decide if I want to get an ultrabook or the Microsoft Surface this summer. I want to upgrade my iPad for an Android tablet also, but I have to be able to rent movies on a rooted device before I can ditch the iPad.

OTD...you could very well need a 12 step program. That's a lotta phones. :)

Those are mostly just last years models she is goin to surpass that this year :p

I used to be like this... until one day i realized i had to clean the dust off my old touch pro.. I started selling stuff off on eBay.

LOL

It does look like we have alot of phones, but I don't take insurance on any of my phones and keep the previous one just in case. I also tend to find other uses for them.

The Blackberry curves are currently being used by my kids as smartphones in training. They have to keep them charged and know where they are at all times. They are pretty good with them too.

The Eriseseses are on our wifi network and with Google voice and Groove IP they have become our home phones (one upstairs and one down).

The Moto Droid is stripped of just about everything and we use it as a multi kitchen timer when cooking.

The Samsung Fascinate is my bedside alarm clock hooked to a set of desktop computer speakers. It also has one of those apps that play ocean sounds for when we go to sleep.

The Nexus and Rhyme are our personal phones and the Bold is my girlfriend's work phone.

hmm I have
3 laptops
PS3, 360, Wii, PS2, super nintendo, Atari,
Xoom, Galaxy tab
around 15 desktops (1 family desktop, 1 gaming then a bunch that I use as a networking test bed for studying)
5 droid 1's, 2 incredibles, dinc 2, BB stomrm 1&2, LG ally, Fascinate, Nexus, EVO, shopping bag full of dumb phones

I use a few of the droids as media devices to control the surround sound systems around the house. One of my laptops the screen broke so I took it apart and built a little box that i hook on behind my TV and use wireless keyboard and mouse.

then bunches of other random computer/gaming/cell phone accesories. I have a slight tech addiction.

With your Sony laptop, do you use Google Chrome? If so, do you have any problems with it? I used to use it, but on my Sony laptop (Win7/64 bit), it was causing frequent BSODs. I uninstalled Chrome, and everything was fine. I tried re-downloading and re-installing, and I got BSODs again, even if I wasn't running Chrome. I don't love Firefox and I abhor IE, so I would love to b use Chrome again if I could figure out how to squash the Blue Screen of Death once and for all.

Chrome is all I use. Never had any problems.

Quite modest really:

1 8 year old Dell PC (+ bits of some older ones - had a clear out the other year)
1 Dell laptop
1 Macbook Pro (with several virtual machines on it - do they count?)
2 HP netbooks
1 Palm Vx (I think the original V is gone, but not certain)
1 Palm Tungsten T3
1 iPhone 4s
1 iPod Touch
1 old iPod (very flaky)
2 iPod Nanos (scroll wheel, not the teeny touch nonsense they sell now)
1 HTC Desire
1 Wii
5 working dumbphones (2 in day to day use)

So yeah, just one Android! Maybe I should offer my resignation? ;)

Demanche, that's ridiculous!

Yes, we tend to never sell things like that. At least I don't, because I always find uses for them.

And the funny part is, we still use VHS for recording TV shows (yep, we still don't have DVR). Just a crappy 10 year old Motorola cable box, that you can watch render text on screen for the guides.

Only one android device here...HTC droid incredible 2. That's it. No t.v. either...

I didn't have a t.v. for many years, and probably still wouldn't have one if it wasn't for my boyfriend finding one out by the dumpster of my apartment complex. I kinda wish that I didn't have one, because I was much more productive without one. Now between my phones, computers, and the t.v., I hardly ever read a book, which is something I miss, and I think was more stimulating. I have been thinking about getting rid of the t.v., and canceling my Netflix subscription, for the well being of my brain, and life.

I haven't watched our tv in over a year. I was watching way to much before then. honestly i really havent missed it. All the shows are basically the same and to be honest I'm tired of knowing how its all going to end anyways.

Tablets in the 2005/6 were laptops with reversible screens and used a stylus. Like this one:-
