Hello all,

I'm thinking about joining Verizon. I've had enough of Sprint and there horrible coverage as of lately. I like the $40 a month plan plus the 70$ a month for the 6gb of data (and free hotspot). However, looking at the phone selection at Verizon. IT SUCKS. Where are the flag ship phones? Anything coming out soon (besides the Galaxy sIII?) Where's the One X on Verizon? Any HD phones?

thanks in advance

Well, there does appear to be a HD phone coming. It's the Maxx HD, although getting any solid info on the phone is like pulling teeth.

Here's a couple links with what little info is rumored.

Dislike Samsung Galaxy S3? 3 Upcoming Verizon Phones You'd Want

DROID RAZR HD Stops by Nenamark for a Benchmark, Snapdragon S4 Processor on Board – Droid Life

There are more and if you google Motorola Maxx HD, some with show up.

Best of luck to you, :)

Verizon always seems to lag behind other carriers in terms of flagship devices. As for HD screened phones, your current options are the galaxy s3, galaxy nexus, lg spectrum and HTC rezound. Though the rumors of are that the incredible 4g is suppose to launch July 5th which is suppose to be similar to the One S. The RAZR maxx has a qhd screen which is not true HD.

The only reason to select a cell provider is quality of service. All the fancy phones in the world won't help if you can't connect.

VZ service has declined considerably this year. It has been postulated that they are throttling service to older (3G) devices in order to "encourage" upgrades to new hardware or have overloaded their networks with too much expansion (like AT&T did with the iPhone). Or both.

Before you make a move, talk to all your friends and associates about what service they use and how it performs for them. If you do decide to move, make sure to use the trial period effectively and don't be shy about switching back if it's not an improvement over what you have now.
