Look out everyone:eek:!!

LOL! Now i'm just bummed about this whole deal.:(
I'm up for my NE2 now so I just don't know what i'm going to do. I'm on a family plan so I will stay with Verizon, but i'm not sure if i'm going to wait much longer on a phone. Will give it till 4/1 (my birthday:D) but will be getting something at that time. Probably the Droid if nothing happens by then.

Guys, I hope the guy who told me is wrong but, I have a good source (since I work for vzw I went to one of the big guys) and he told he has NO idea of release date for this phone, but he confirmed the phone is coming to us, he always think the phone will NOT be released before may and he thinks for what he heard it will be around June. Again, he doesn't know anything for sure, it is just he thoughts about the Incredible, he could be wrong but we all have to wait to find out for sure!

Ha! I have a hard time believing this, but if they wait until June, that's a total fail. I'd be a heavy EVO lean under those circumstances, or just a Nexus One user on Verizon. Not waiting until June for the Incredible.

Kinda makes sense as to them not announcing today. I was really hoping for it to be announced today like everyone else. But think about this, yeah it would have been cool if they announced it and took the spot light from Sprint. But I think Verizon is going to announce within the first 2 hours of tomorrow. That way it takes away all the hype from Sprint and if NKT is right with the same specs as the EVO but a smaller form factor with AMOLED....yeah that will take the cake on the award.

HDMI out, 720p recording, front facing camera? Those are some serious features that the Incredible seems to be missing. Granted, 720p is still a possibility but not the other two. I'm still thinking the Incredible needed to be announced first, especially if it's gonna be available sooner. Sprint takes the cake here with the EVO as a better overall media device and it's 4G capable. Not that the Incredible is anything to sneeze at, but it's clearly no longer more "incredible" than the competition. The award will probably go to the EVO.

Ha. Just messing around. I feel your pain. I've been eligible for my NE2 for a couple of months now, but I'm going to wait it out. I'm also on a family plan. Bummed to the max.

Long time lurker, new to forum. I just saw that Nexus One now offered by Verizon. Unlocked for $529. Nothing official on Google Nexus One site though. Sorry if already posted.

CTIA 2010: Verizon Nexus One Release Date | World Buzz Now!

That's funny because Google isn't selling them for Verizon... Until Google changes their site and actually begins selling the N1 for Verizon those articles are all BS! They had them on sale for ATT by the time the tech blogs even mentioned it.

EDIT: I don't mean to rip right into ya.... Welcome. I'd check www.google.com/phone if you want N1 info.

That was just babbling about how it was supposedly going to be released today, but it hasn't. Th price they stated is it's price now (AT&T model).

But in reality I don't think that many people will leave since the N1 should be out for verizon by the time the evo is released and the n1 is still a damn good phone (with better screen and much less battery drain than the evo).

I also think theres a good possibility htc will announce the incredible tomorrow. I don't think they would release 2 super phones on the same day either.

If I was a Verizon Exec, would it make more sense for me to battle for the top spot on everyone's website/blog on day one and possibly be overshadowed by the EVO? Or would I let them have their day of glory and announce the Incredible(or whatever they decide to call it) the next day and have everyone talking about it the whole day?

Maybe they said that the EVO is a powerhouse, and since it has a little bit bigger screen that the Incredible wouldn't be in everyone's mouth.

I'm sad that it didn't happen today, but hopeful for tomorrow. Either way life goes on.

And honestly, if I'm releasing two devices on two different days of a conference, I'm going to save the best for last, otherwise it would just be a letdown. You always build momentum to a peak; you never fire the biggest fireworks first. Looks like the Supersonic was spec'd better than the rumors predicted. So what do we not know about Incredible that will blow us away? What wonderful surprises lie in wait for us?

So this is off topic (God forbid), but I just asked for a gwave invite twos days ago and got it just now. Didn't some people say they waited weeks? Anyway...

I still believe in the mid-april release and I am hoping for an announcement tomorrow. However, I could see VZ holding off and letting their inventory run off and not announce the incredible until a week or less before-hand.

When I got my first cell, I started on TMobile. I couldn't place calls from my apartment without being near a window. Returned it within the 2 week grace period, switched to Verizon, got full bars, and never looked back.

OK. So you know Verizon is better than the worst network in the US. Sort of proves my point though. What about the other 2 networks? Most people have never tried all 4 networks to really know if Verizon is truely that much better. Everyone pretty much just goes on what they are told. And guess who is telling them? Verizon is, that's who.

I'm not a very trusting person by nature. There was a saying used during the Cold War, "trust but verify". I have also found was appears to be false information being provided as coming from an inside source in this thread but I've chosen to not out this information due to it possibly being a mistake.

I think it's just wrong that on the verizon main page, the tag line for their "Daily Deals" section says

"Check back every 24 hours for another incredible offer"

Are they just toying with us?!

Maybe they are delaying the release because they need to come up with another name for the phone. They would not be able to use a statement like that every again, unless it was for the incredible itself. :D

Honestly no other phone company would use the word incredible to describe any deals either, as it would seem a reference to the incredible on verizon.

Who knows. Verizon just release the phone (whatever its called) so I can give you my money.
