I'll post this question here so I don't add to the clutter of the development section. I know ics is being compiled and tested for the admire and that's fantastic that it is even being worked on, but how is a phone with less than 300mb ram going to handle ics? I own a Droid x2 and cm9 has memory issues with ~500mb of ram. I'm just curious as to what others thoughts are on the subject.

I'm not going to say for certain, but I would imagine that the smaller screen size and smaller image resolution would allow it to take up less space than a larger phone. Again, I'm not 100% certain on that, but c'mon, I have CM9 on my wifes LG Optimus M and it runs great, and I think the Admire is SLIGHTLY more powerful. I, personally, look forward to seeing ICS on the Admire as I am stuck in a 2yr contract with no money to buy a better phone :)

You do realize the admire has 512 mb of total ram right?

Friends,

I deleted the nasty back and forth. Please keep it friendly, here. If something is out of line? Off topic? If you feel "called out"? Report it to us, we're good at responding according to the rules. We want to keep a friendly environment in a friendly way and not be overbearing about it, so I appeal to you guys to report and not react. Thank you.
