Got it from their online store, postpaid phone on a 2 year contract. I've tested it with other SIMS and it works okay. I've also rooted it and it still works okay. Not game to re-flash it, but I'm happy with the OS. Just wanted some of the root features in MyBackupPro.

AS I THOUGHT *network lock* [on] lol (knew it )
but : The other options
network subset lock [off]
sp lock [off]
cp lock [off]
any info what this means ?
is it possible to unlock networks yet ?

I got mine from Telechoice, on a Optus contract in Australia.

It is a white one and it is unlocked

I didn't have to... I even forgot to put in the hash symbol, so I just went back and put it in and it just popped up.

Make sure your entering the right numbers though...

Also..

My phone is unbranded, however it is locked to T-Mobile UK. Anyone else have an unbranded one but is locked?

Tried both on wifi and 4g

hello everyone i am new to this phone and wondered if someone could help me. I got my s3 about 4 weeks back and when i put the code *# 7465625#
into the phone i get a personislation menu saying sim lock off,network lock off, Unfortunately since the latest update (I9300BUBLG3_I9300BULG2) on Vodafone Branded SGS3's that code no longer works! is my phone still unlocked

I don't know. The code no longer works on my phone either. I guess you'll just have to try a different carrier's sim and find out.

I am dialing same code and it shows same screen but didn't specify ON/OFF status. That ON/OFF area kept blank. What does it mean. I have Sgh-T999 Samsung S3 for T-Mobile USA.
