I will likely do away with the iPad altogether once developers start making tablet specific versions of apps.

This for me as well.... My wife still likes her iPhone (She will probably get a 5) and this year we were talking about diving into video renting/buying with an appleTV because of the content. I was perfectly fine with a "Multi" platform home but now.... I'm not spending a dime more than I have to for Crapple stuff.
