I seem to have disabled the battery percentage indicator
that was previously displayed while the phone was charging.
It used to say '95%. Charging' and now it says only 'Charging'.
Does anyone know how to bring the percentage back? I have
the H7 firmware.

yeah, it's not present in "settings -> about phone -> status" either
I use "useful switchers" to see the battery level.

The new firmware got rid of that.

If you want to know the battery percentage in real time, you either install "Spare Parts" or type *#*#INFO#*#* in the Dialer.

Hi,
I am very curious though...
why on earth would this battery percentage indicator be removed?
I mean, its clearly quite essential (or at least to my appreciation), as the battery indicator is quite useless as is, and I don't know of any other smartphone that doesn't give you battery indications...
of course one can install applications for that, but I am always worried about battery consumption of these things, and this kind of thing should certainly have better UI integration.
