This is my first build of any cm9 on my phone, as i just got my phone replaced under warranty. So, this build is the first custom rom on this hardware. I still did a data wipe and cache clear before installing.

Thanks jarjar I will look into this, if it works OK I will try and include it into the ROM. Right now working on the camera stuff....

yeah u work on that while i work on google now...for some reason when i turn on google now...it fc's.....for some odd reason i had it working on the previous build....hmm
but everything else works if u dont turn it on

wow, amazing video performance. can you add those drivers and setting into CM7?
one of the issues besides known, no GPS lock at all. GPS icon is not even blinking.

I'll look into it. See if I can't get some better locks for us. Also those drivers are only for ICS only. They may work in cm7 but haven't tried them yet. I did send them to chairshot to mess with.

g60, you might as well add this one to the list. These GPU drivers are extremely good and all, but sometimes they glitch up the app drawer and keyboard, it seems. I'll attach the screenshot from earlier as well as another screenshot of a bug possibly related to the GPU drivers ASAP.

Any idea what exactly is causing this? But other than that, these are super smooth. And since the issue is only a hindrance, and does not prevent me from using my phone, please keep these drivers in the beta. Don't pull them though as they're way better than no acceleration at all. They just need a bit of patching, is all.

I'll spend some time on this, maybe kernel and possibly need to update the keyboard files. I maybe coding tonight just depends on how good the Broncos and Steelers game is. Are you by chance getting any log cats? If so just post on pastebin and post a link.

So, to get an accurate logcat, how would you recommend I go about it? Download aLogcat and clear the logcats, wait for the glitch to occur, then stop recording logcats, and send you the files?

OK, I'll get those logcats in as soon as the glitch occurs. I don't know when it will show up again, so they could come up anytime. For once in my life, I hope I get a bug soon LOL.

I had the glitchy keyboard on the build before today's update. It happens when you turn caps lock on, then off and start typing again.

The app drawer thing I haven't had a problem with yet. I am using Apex Launcher though, so that might be why.

Yup just did it. Setup caps lock and started typing in caps then turned it off and letters where all big but went small as soon as I hit them one by one. Looks like an overlay issue. Still no problems with the drawer yet but I'm sure in time I'll see it.

If you set your phone to silent (not vibrate but actually silent) when you are listening to music you can avoid the sound level issue. besides we shouldnt be texting or talking while driving anyway

if i forget to silence phone i have always just paused the music, counted to 8 slowly, then resumed and it would play lould again. both routines have worked 100% of the time for me on every rom i have used with this phone.

Ok so I'm using dolphin and cm9 and for some reason the browser window doesn't go from edge to edge. It didn't do this with cm7. It will be edge to edge while it's loading but as soon as it loads there is a quarter inch of black on the right side where the scroll bar is. This isn't life or death but it is annoying. This is in landscape by the way.any help would be awesome. Thanks.

not sure what i'm doing wrong here. i cant seem to get wifi to work. it just stays at "turning on wifi...."

i wiped data, cache, system, and dalvik. flashed rom and gapps. whats seems to be problem here? any ideas?

Did you reboot after you first booted the rom? Wifi never works on first boot.

This rom is amazing. First I've bothered flashing since g60's cm7 final after the 3g fix. I can live without a camera for this.

I got it working by messing with the order I installed them. I flashed the rom, then the google now link posted above. I booted into the rom without flashing gapps and played with google now a bit. I rebooted into recovery and flashed gapps and google now stayed.

Oh, and I'm not sure if it's just me, but the lights on the buttons aren't lighting up. They seem to work, but there is no lights currently.

I have same non-functioning GPS problem. Icon doesn't flash, 0 satellites show up in GPS Test. Both 9/9 builds. I think it's defaulting to external GPS, but switching to internal didn't help. clearing/updating agps also gave no results... neither did chairshot's GPS fix.

Turn on automatic brightness and your buttons will light up.

On cm7 I always had about 120mb of ram being used at any given time but with cm9 it's always 200 plus. Is this normal and/or necessary? No new apps or settings btw. is it possible to get this back down?

The screen doesn't turn on during a call when taking phone away from face.

Oh and the battery life is less than half that of cm7. It goes down 1 percent every 2-3 minutes when browser is open. I mean I don't want to complain but it is awful. You can actually watch it go down. Is this to be expected on a beta ics ROM?

Those a the problems I'm having. I know it's beta and sorry if they have already been brought up
