You re-flashed Mik? As in, you flashed it before? forgive me for not reading up here, sorry. Did you wipe all except sd card 3 times?
I recommend flashing kernel in a separate flash session, not at the same time as rom flash....

tried a couple different ROMs. Decided to go back to MikG. I followed the guide each time I flashed. I will admit, I flashed MikG then flashed Anthrax right after without re-booting. I just wiped cache, d-cache, data then did superwipe. Reflashed MikG and all is Ok so far. I better stop wile Im ahead.....

is it normal for my msl code to change, because it has since you first hooked me up.
also, should I flash a kernel? i did it on my Samsung Moment and that thing can go about 3 weeks at idle without a charge. if i should, which kernel do you recommend and when/how should i flash it?

Your msl code changed? Didnt think that was possible?! Did it change when you went on the VZW prl? I haven't changed back yet to know, I should run the msl check app to see!
Anyhoo, you surely wont get 1/2 that long on the Evo in standby for sure.
I would try to flash the Anthrax kernel again, or, try the sbc kernel by ca1ne v0.8 I think it is....I'll try to find it for ya!

Just wipe cache and dalvik cache, then flash...
I would flash the sbc no havs v08 first....just remember that this kernel is for sense roms such as MikG.
As with any kernel, let it run/settle a few (3-4) days before chucking it for another.

Sounds like you are on ext4, anthrax kernel will only support ext3 and below. Caine's v8 kernels support ext4

It installed the the kernel that came with MikG and perhaps you wiped more than you did before? So, are you good to go?

operationally, yes. Good to go. I'd really like to find something a little different. I dont like the fact that I cant look at a photo, hit menu and have an option to send. I know it sounds petty but, I'm a compulsive complainer.

If you want to try another sense rom, you can try tommy's classic EVO ROM. Its sense 1.0 and light weight, stable and very nice. If I'm not on mikg I'm on that one. I run either anthrax or underworld kernels. Both work great for me on either rom.
