[International / GSM] Galaxy Nexus 4.1.2 update

Hi everybody.... I have an unlocked Galaxy Nexus which is rooted to Team Win Recovery Project v2.1.2 and upgraded to jellybean 4.1.1. i am not able to update the OS to 4.1.2. i tried the system given updates but it failed and i also manually downloaded the file and tried installing but it failed too. please suggest....

It won't update because it is looking for the stock recovery and you'd need to be unrooted. Best way is to flash the stock 4.1.2 facotry image from Google and flash your custom recovery (TWRP 2.3.1.0 being the current one) and root again.

I've noticed a lot of custom ROM makers are delaying upgrade to 4.1.2 -- probably because rumors are 4.2 is going to be introduced Oct. 29 with the LG Nexus. So, most are just waiting for 4.2 instead of having to do all the work twice.

4.1.2 working nicely here on AOKP. Seemed a small matter for those guys. It could be more work than it looked but it got merged in very fast

Using AOKP B.5 4.1.2 as well. Works great.

From what I've seen the main ROMs for the Nexus are upgraded to 4.1.2, including Codename Android, CM10, AOKP, etc.....

Most of the more popular roms have made the change already: CyanogenMod, Codename Android, AOKP, AOSP, Black Bean, Paranoid Android, XenonHD, Bugless Beast, RasBean Jelly, EuroSkank JellyBro... just to name a few.
