Meizu MX USA Carriers?

I was wondering if the MX would support the 3g signals in the USA or would it support the HSPA+ signals in the USA. ATT or T-Mobile? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Meizu MX has a 3G WCDMA band of 850/900/1700/1900/2100MHz. For AT&T, the band is 850/1900 MHz. For T-Mobile, it's 1700 MHz. So I guess Meizu MX supports both AT&T and T-Mobile 3G.

According to CNET and GSMArena, it is also penta-band and can use HSPA+ (AT&T and T-Mo's fake 4G). It is not an LTE phone though. Hopefully Meizu keeps the same form factor with their MX II (January launch) with a slight hardware and screen upgrade, Flyme on Jellybean, and LTE-capable. The last point is a big "hope" though, since we're the only country that has LTE in any significant amount and the phone was made for Chinese first, everyone else second.

Meizu is one of the very few Guangdong phone manufacturers I have any respect for. They seem to produce quality products, and have been around for more than a couple of years. Even have their own showrooms in the Mainland and Hong Kong. Have also visited their HQ and factory in Zhuhai, was quite impressed.

China Mobile has already conducted field trials of LTE in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Nanjing, and Xiamen. Should be deploying LTE next year. Maybe a while before Xilinhot gets it though.

If Meizu can continue producing Top 5 (was Top 4 before Optimus G launched) flagship phones in the same form factor, and include LTE capability (maybe NFC), it will be very easy to find a market in the United States with and without contracts. I paid $388 USD for my unlocked MX 4-core (arrives next week!) and I don't believe the MX II launching in January will be very much more.

And they don't look as much like iPhones anymore!

As to AT&T - most likely,
as to T-Mobile - it requires 1700/2100, but I think 1700 is not supported by Meizu. Maybe in so named refarmed areas it would work, as these areas require 1900/2100.

Here are the Find 7 (Oppo) bands. Phone is Chinese and works very well on TMOUS. If your phone is set up this way, then TMO should do just fine.

GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 - all models
3G bands HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 - international model
HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 - Mexico & US model
4G bands LTE 800 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600 - international model
LTE 700 / 1700 / 2100 - Mexico & US model
