[Verizon] [rom]jbsourcery v5.4-lte[06/07/13] jb4.2.2 The Final Call

Dang, UBR! I thought you wanted to ROM your phone... but no, you want an APP to ROM your phone! :p

:D

But I do want to ROM my phone :p. I just want to automate the BS prep work. I always lose a bunch of time by sitting my phone down waiting for TiBu to backup, or waiting for my Nandroid backup...and then forget about my phone and walk away. If I had an automated process for that BS...I'd be done much sooner! ;)

any way to spice up the notification led ui panel, i like its functionality but not a looker, i have to admit lightflow ui is alright, it doesnt work right all the time but it looks good lol lol.

After the last Lightflow update, did you check the new option for "root mode"? I'd been having problems with LF ever since loading my first JB rom but it hasn't failed me once since enabling that option. YMMV.

Lots of new features in the experimental. Some are cool...but not practical for me like the UI tweaks with the combined status/navigation bars. I wish I could get used to it cause I'd never have to change my grip on my phone.

The option to access the quick settings by swiping on the right or left edge is genius. I have yet to do a "two finger swipe" to access those in real use.

I don't think this is new...but what are navigation bar widgets? Can't seem to get those to appear anywhere.

So whats NEW in tweaks? What are your favorites? I guess I'm the kind of user who finds a configuration he likes and sticks with it... so I have no idea what's really available :)

Frankly, there is so much modding a user is able to do with this ROM, between the offerings in the rom control center and the toolbox that I recommend folks just see for themselves. There are literally pages and pages of mods. :)

I agree totally with Steven. So many options and features (and because I only ran 4.3 for one day I'm still foggy on what is new in the experimental build that wasn't in 4.3).

The option to swipe down (with one finger) on either the left or right side of the status bar to access your quick settings has to be my favorite feature and I think it is a new one. Seems like a little thing but it is one of those things that makes you wonder why Google didn't integrate it into 4.2. On tablets running 4.2 you have two pulldowns...the notifications on the left side, and the quick settings on the right side. So it just makes sense to have multiple places to swipe on a phone to access different things.

I originally had it configured the quick settings to be access from the right side of the status bar but then quickly figured out that my thumb usually grabs the status bar near the clock when checking notifications so I changed it to the left. Again, seems like a little thing but I could see that getting baked into AOSP at some point.

Tablet UI mode is new too I believe. Would be great for anyone that enjoys the Paranoid Android ROM. You do not have the ability to change the layout for every app like you do in PA, but you can change the interface to Tablet or Phablet mode. People who have smaller hands would probably dig this option.

Minimus had the core apps inverted.... Maximus had every app we could find inverted

This might be picky, but is there an actual list of the apps included in Maximus anywhere? I've got it installed on my phone, and I think I've found most of them, but it's a little confusing because some apps have bounced around a bit. For example, "Facebook" is now "Black Facebook" so it's in a different location in the app drawer. Not a big deal by any means, mostly just to help shed a bit of light on what you guys are up to :).

Thanks!
