Please go easy on me.
I have had my note2 for a few months. Was an iPhone user for two years.
I am using google search often (blue square with white g which also opens showing any reminders and a weather card.
I search, find and read. However occasionally I want to return shortly to the found page having moved away, for example to open email.
When I return to google the screen shows the original google search bar and the results that were there only minutes ago have vanished. So I have to start all over again.
I assume my result was in a browser window, but where is that window.
There is a world globe saying Internet and if I use that to search the results are opened in a new window that I can return to.
However I am trying to use the google as i like the opening screen showing cards and a reminder. Should I just forget that google and use google chrome that works just like the globe Internet.
Thanks.

Hi and welcome! I DO use Google Chrome rather than just Google myself, and when I open Google, it will have a square in the top right with all my recent pages.

I haven't tried using just Google search for the same thing.

I don't know if this will help you at all but are you aware that you could leave the search page by a quick press on the central 'Home' button at the bottom of the screen. That will take you to your Home screen and from there to whatever you want to do next. When you want to return, do another quick press of the Home button. When you are on the Home screen do a long press on the Home button. You will then see thumbnails of all the recently used app screens, pan up and down as necessary. Click on the search one to return to where you started. Sounds cumbersome to describe but easy to do.
