A friend asked me to get the photos off her phone if I could. I'm having a similar problem to some previous threads, but none of the information in them helped me.
The screen is cracked, and does not give touch feedback. It does seem to boot up though, making a tone on startup and when plugging into my laptop's usb port. After trying some of the solutions from various threads on this forum (samsung kies, install drivers, tried to set usb mode blindly) and a few of my own (soft reset, various phone recovery software) I got nowhere. In the process of messing around I hit the volume down so the phone only vibrates when plugging into the usb port.
The biggest issue is that when I connect it, the phone does not show up as a drive at all. Both cables I have used work on my RAZR M, so it really shouldn't be that.
Any suggestions?
