I am unsure if this has been asked yet and I apologize if it has. I am patiently trying to wait out the 14th of March and the Introduction of the GS4. I love my GS3 and think as of right now it's the best phone I have owned to date with the exception of possibly the Note II (and I have owned a lot).

My question is, will you make the jump to the GS4? I will as soon as it becomes available. Just wanted to know how the fellow GS3 people out there were thinking. :D

I'm not totally getting rid of the GS3 per say, my wife will inherit it so she can get rid of her iPhone 4.

36 months for me. Also, just got my phone last July. It is still really awsome to me. I have no complaints that any new phone I have seen so far would make my SGS3 seem insufficient.

Yeah the s3s are pretty overpowered when u think about it.. nothing pushes them to their limit so other than gimmicky new features that the s3 will probably get anyway and a biger screen, maybe better battery life, theres just gona be a lot of redundant power/ram there i think

The more I hear about the S4 the more exited I get! OK a lot is is still rumours at the moment but I'll be on-line on the 14th - midnight UK time to watch!

As I bought my phone I will sell on eBay and get the S4 - lovely!

As mentioned before. The phone is supposed to be announced on the 14th, not available for purchase or order.

No contract - prepaid for the win. On the other hand I paid about $500 about 6 months ago, so I'm not really inclined to run out and do it again right now. Truth is I doubt the S4 is going to be such an improvement that anyone with an S3 is going be really feel bad about being "stuck" with it. Instead it is going to be just better enough so that people with S2 who will be coming off their 2 year contracts will feel they are getting a real upgrade and sign up for another 2 years (seriously people don't do it - they are ripping you off is in the long run......quit being their sheep, just save up and buy it outright).

Now when the S5 comes around....that is going to be a different story....

I will stay put because of my contract. I am, however, very much excited to see what they come out with on the 14th. This is because whatever we finally see will be built upon for the even better S5 for 2014. Remember these things come out yearly. That's really not very long to wait for something even better. Also, I've never been the type that had to have the latest and greatest for this reason (at least, not at the cost of much money and trouble to do so). The S5 will be here soon enough.

I think the best thing is to get the best phone thats affordable/available to u at the time instead of chasing its bigger, better brother and, when it stops being officialy supported, enjoy having an old phone modded by 3rd party genius' that can be made to perform just as well as its high end contemparys :)

I've only had my phone for 4 months and I'm on a 2 year contract so I'm not eligible for an upgrade, but even if I were not on a contract, I am very pleased with my phone just the way it is. It does everything I want it to do and more, and I really don't have any desire to run out and buy another phone just so I can say that I have the newest version. No offense intended to anyone, I know some people really enjoy having the latest and greatest and that's cool. But for me personally, I'm content with what I have.
