Don't use ROM manager
And after slimdroid don't wipe anything when flashing my rom

ok, I'm trying to get back to just slimdroid, I'll reboot and install through CWM

can't even get back to slimdroid..

Battery life is great on this and it is nice and smooth! anybody succesfully tethering while using this ROM? If so, what are you using? Thanks!

there is a wifi tether solution for ICS based roms posted somewhere in this thread. I still have a copy of the wifi tether app in titanium backup just incase I were to ever run ICS again. I can't remember exactly how to get the app though. It's a beta or modded version of the wifi tether app from the play store. If I have time tonight and you are still having this issue I'll post the copy of it I have.

I love the smoothness of your rom. But whenever I tried to install it, it randomly crashes.
Followed the below procedure
Deleted the cache, factory reset, system format, cache format, delvic cache format fix permissions, install the rom, finally fix permissions and boot it.
Can you please tell me is there any text book way.. where my phone is not going to crash with this rom?

Could we get a little more information? ie. What are you doing when it crashes? Can you pull /proc/last_kmsg and pastebin it so we can see why it's crashing? It's hard to say why it's crashing without at least a last_kmsg. If you can replicate the crash and get a logcat, that would be good also.

i'm having trouble getting the status bar themes when coming from cm 10.1. I flashed slimdroid 3.0, then flashed icy 3.3,3.4, and 4.0 after.
I had the status bar themes on 3.3 and 3.4, but they disappeared after flashing 4.0
all of them were dirty flash, except for full wipe before flashing slimdroid

All theming was removed from 4.0 until it is completely finished.

Anybody else lose GPS when flashing from cm 10.1?
EDIT: Nevermind, I got a lock now.

How do people deal with not having a battery percentage in the status bar? It's the only pet peeve I have with this rom.

xylon might be a tough one to build for the spectrum, well see how it goes still getting everything together and organized, i might try paranoid android from source and see if that is easier

I hadn't heard of pacman rom but I just read a little bit about it on xda and it sounds like a winner. Hmmm probably try root box bacuse its based off of cm and AOKP and would be much easier to build from source then an aosp based rom
