So my galaxy S2 (that I've had about a year) upgraded to 4.0.4 last Sunday and I had to add my main email account again (hotmail) however since the upgrade it's not working as it used to - it's coming through on the phone fine, no issues there however when I used to read emails on my phone it would mark them as read when I visited hotmail.com on my computer also and it's now not doing this - I visited hotmail.com on my computer this morning & all the emails I have received since the upgrade that are marked read on my phone were marked unread on hotmail.com. Also I deleted about half the emails that have come through on the phone and usually this deletes from the email account completely but they were still coming up when I visited hotmail.com,
I've looked at all the settings that are available on my phone to try and fix the issue but cannot seem to get it to work
It's been so long since I set it up in the first place (with no issues - ever) that I can't remember if there was anything I did or any options that are no longer available.
Does anyone know how to fix this please?!
