Root [CDMA] [ROM] - Evo 3D CDMA - PAC [OFFICIAL]

Really? What bugs did you have? I haven't noticed any bugs on 4/11 except on the initial startup I got the "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped". Haven't gotten anything wrong with it since.

It was just running laggy for me. Weirs since everyone else said it was smooth for them. 4/13 seems to be running well though so far!

You won't regret it! I'm staying with 4/13 until cmb updates to v23 as it's running very smooth for me and I'm tired of having to do the recofiguration every time I update.:p
I have been just flashing on top of the previous builds, then wipe Dalvic/Cache and let it settle and reboot. I've had no problems doing this since no major changes in #'s or kernels.

is PA settings working properly for others? in 4-16's (clean install) i can't change colors on apps, because in portrait the boxes are off screen and in landscape the color selection boxes are off screen (last used 3-31 don't remember this in that) dpi doesn't seem to matter

edit: looks fine in 3-31, but changed to this with 4-2 it seems

fix(atleast for now): use titanium backup on an earlier rom to get version 5.0, then uninstall 5.2 from newer roms (installing over the top doesn't work) then restore the backup

or when flashing the rom you could just replace the apk within the zip beforehand

There's a newer version the 4/17 build that it out. You might wanna take a look into that.

*NEW*shooter_PAC_JB_4.2.2-v22.1.0_20130417-180619.zip **See note below

NOTE for CDMA build 04-17-2013:

The changes are mostly PAC, CyanogenMod, as well as my own frameworks changes that I was trying to make work for some time! They work now.
Other notable changes include: Finally updated my Linaro toolchains on my build server. Built the ROM as well as Kernel with these toolchains. I am hoping that this will make performance really good, if you don't notice much improvement trust me after my next set of changes (in progress) you will.
Updated kernel to BigWillyG's latest buttered4.2 code/branch which is 4.2 code, I also saw he updated sources to Linux 3.0.74 and HTC 2.95 (JellyBean). Big thanks to BigWillyG for his permission to use in the Rom and for keeping his source public so I can build it in!
Since it's mostly kernel and frameworks changes, please do a full wipe before flashing!
Special thanks especially to YOU the users, for using PAC and for your support!
*Comming soon support for Metro PCS (hopefully!)

Flashed the new version and my phone doesn't seem to want to wake up sometimes. The lights for the bottom buttons will come on but the screen will not turn on. Only way to get it to work it take my case of and pop the battery out.

Anyone else having this problem? hopefully it's not just me :/

Don't worry, man. This also happened to me a few times. Just pull your battery, go to recovery, and wipe dalvik / cache. And you're good to go.

I had this issue not only with the new version, but also with older version too (can't remember which one).

tried it (full wipe) but no change, oh well, i'll just continue using the slightly older version of the app for now since that seems to work still

I had this problem with a few older builds. You might want to raise the min clock speed to 486MHz as sometimes at 192MHz the phone would have trouble waking up.

Thanks for letting us know. I was thinking about flashing this build but now I will avoid it. I think I'm better waiting for his next major release.

3-31 posted on page 13 is the last one i know of that works, 4-2 on don't, it seems to have started when 'ParanoidPreferences.apk' was upgraded from 5.0 to 5.2

Link is no longer available for the 3/31 build.

It's cool though. I don't mess around with those settings so I'm fine with my current version which flies. Very very smooth :p

ok on the 4/17 build....WHICH MEANS....new build should be up shortly.
HAHA

4/17 is nice so far. Like the new lock screen Weather Widget.

That weather widget is the cClock widget. It's not really new. It's been in the rom for quite sometimes. but the 4/16 and 4/17 build has it as the default clock on the lockscreen and homescreen. It's nice. has weather and stuff. :)
