And now, the waiting begins, hopefully not too much waiting.
My previous devices were Samsung units, and it was possible to directly download new releases from Samsung's developer website, often without having to wait for the OTA push. Does Motorola have anything similar?

Saw on another thread that it will be available May 6, so try running software update tomorrow.

I received my notification about noon today. Downloaded and installed it on my phone. I'm seeing a few minor cosmetic differences, plus the support for Google Now, but I haven't seen much else yet. Will explore it some more tonight.

I think the biggest change in Jelly Bean is behind the scenes: "Project Butter." Aside from Google Now, I'm also liking the actions directly in the notification bar (such as with Gmail.)

I initially thought "Meh, what's the difference" because Motorola did such a poor job of communicating the differences, but now I'm like "WOW!".

- Onboard screenshotting by pressing Power and Volume Down (if we had that already, it's news to me!)
- Kill notifications for individual apps directly from the pull down, or "shade" (Goodbye Sprint Zone!)
- Swipe right on home screen for quick settings
- Onboard equalizer, finally! (of course after I bought Equalizer...but hey, the app works for my videos too, where as the onboard one doesn't)
- Safe Mode (for uninstalling unruly apps)
