Galaxy S4 Cases and covers!

If it covers the light sensors, the auto brightness is most probably not going to work. And with the case covering sensors, are you sure you have put on the case properly and correctly?

no, the case doesnt cover any sensors....

im talking about the screen protector....i cant get the picture but this is the link...

Amazon.com: SPIGEN SGP SGP10176 GLAS.t SLIM Premium Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Galaxy S4 (0.23mm) - 1 Pack - Retail Packaging - Oleophobic Coating: Cell Phones & Accessories

I have the slim armor case. The easiest way to put it on is to already have the 2 layers put together before you put the phone in it. Put the phone in, press all around the edges to snap it in to place. And it fits perfectly right out of the box. No break in period required. If yours doesnt seem right, then its not right. Return it.
One question though, what kind of screen protector are you using? Is it a thick one possibly blocking the case from fully snapping on?
I know for my wife's iphone she got a zagg screen protector but the case kept making it peel off. She took it to zagg and they told her she needed a case friendly screen protector which leaves some room around the edges for a case.
Maybe whichever protector you are using is not compatible?

I ordered white, so the color met my expectations.

I bought the Luvvitt Hybrid transparent case from Amazon because the design looked nice and it was fairly inexpensive ($6). It may be a copy of the Poetic case. Regardless, I've been using it for a couple weeks and have been very pleased. The fit is great and the quality is great. Would highly recommend.

Oh, I got white for my white S4.

Got a Nilking case today. I had the same one when I had Moto Razr and decided to try it on my S4. It fits perfectly, and just as with the Razr one I had to cut off the pieces that sit next to power and volume buttons to make them more accessible. It is not a case that protects the phone from any crazy stuff, but I do not plan on throwing it at people or anything like that, so it should be sufficient.

I also got a replacement battery cover which imitates leather and it is pretty good. I think it was much more useful to have that on S3 with its tapered edges, but still from time to time putting it on will break the boredom of the same phone every day.

That is the truth. I understand some people need good protection as they work on building sites etc., but most sit at their desks with the phone covered by a huge ugly case that does nothing.

Good point. I hate how some of my friends who love to say 'I got a case, b****!' when it's just an ugly case you found on amazon for $20. Not like I have a grudge against cases, but cases kinda cover up the beauty of the phone. I understand people who work at harsh environments who use a case, but we are schooling! We don't study in a jungle, yea.

Apologies if this has already been answered, but is there currently a sleeve / pouch type case available for the S4?. I'm looking for one similar to the little black neoprene type sleeve that came with the Nexus One. It has a little Android robot logo on it if anyone remembers that. I use that on my Incredible for pocket protection and drop protection when pulling it out, works very well. I don't care about the logo on it obviously, but a similar type of case would be perfect. I like my phones naked once I have them out as I don't like ruining the lines and design with a permanent case.

I pre-ordered the SPIGEN SGP Neo Hybrid in Satin Silver about a month ago, before I was even able to upgrade to a Galaxy S4. Finally got the S4 last week and the first impressions are very good. The case fits snug and is really stylish with the "ring" around the outside. The only thing that could make it better is if the "ring" was made of metal instead of plastic but that would have its own tradeoffs including additional weight and cost. It looks close enough to metal anyway.

My favorite feature is how slim the case is. My last phone (Motorola Photon) and my wife's Galaxy S3 both had Otterbox cases (plus Otterbox cases for my wife's previous phone and our Kindle Fire HD 8.9") which offered superior protection but were extremely bulky. I am willing to trade a bit of protection for a case that is slimmer and more stylish. If you absolutely need the extra protection, like if you often drop your phone on cement, get an Otterbox. But if you are like me and rarely drop your phone and want something more slim and stylish, get the Neo Hybrid.

In the past few days I have had two people look at my phone and ask me if I am going to get a case for my S4 while the NEO was on it. Proof of how perfectly this case fits the S4.

If the 'ring' is metal instead of plastic, it may interfere with the signal transmitted from your phone.
