I got a question. Its a little off topic, I apologize for that, but is there any way to install theme chooser for other roms? I know that is one of the main reasons some people like CM, so if you could port the theme engine from it to other roms that would be great.

Theme chooser is hard coded into the frameworkres and systen ui not to mention it work properly because cm themes are well... made for cm.

lol there all gingerbread files. to be honest i believe the mms.apk came from the gs3.

it was in regards to mms and data. there all the same files and it doesnt matter what device as long as the same android version for the most part.

all the files in that zip are not device specific

i think it came from a motorola phone from what i saw when i opened up the apk. i made a flashable zip from the files you linked to(mms666.zip).
but im seeing that anything i flash doesnt actually flash. ive tried all the metron zips, and the 2 i attached here and nothing seemed to change at all. apns dont even stick even if i put them in manually. at least for me.
go ahead and give these 2 attachments a try and see if they work for you.
mms666 - just an updated metron zip..made from the files pressy linked to
change the name - just changes "metropcs" to "cm.7" in the notification pull down.
they can both be flashed thru recovery

Any reason for the 666? And cant you change the carrier name in cm settings?

no..
and yes you can, but not on other stock based roms which that zip will work on..i just do that to quickly see if the flash did anything.

lol if it was as simple as an XML file it wouldn't be broken guys.

There is currently a problem that exists even in the stock version of the RIL that does not play nice with Cyanogenmod. I can fix" it by doing it the way I did it on the old CM builds, but that was using the RIL files from hroark13's Prevail CM port. I'd prefer to do things the "right" way this time (building everything from source as I possibly can), which is the same reason camera and everything else that is broken is still broken.

Good news is that I have time to work on it again, and am doing so.

Data/Web Not working.
Clicked on web No network connection Browser cannot load this page because there is no internet connection.

Calls: made calls it worked. I was also able to reach my voice mail account.

Text/mms: Cannot test it because messaging app Force closes

Okay I tracked down the Mms issue, and I *think* I know why mms/data isn't working.

Can you see if you can view your IMEI and other information in Settings->About phone?

It very fast and doesn't freeze. web on wifi hasn't crash a mobile site yet.

Someone can try to put the APN settings in manually.

I tried the APN Backup and restore and settings dont stay on phone.

That was no use.

Also some more problems
Yellow triangle on upper left side of screen says Google Talk authentication failed.

Google play store is not installed.
