I've gotten very tired of this phone and VM in general. I'll be getting the HTC One with T-Mobile. I want to thank all the devs that made this phone bearable.

Virgin Mobile uses Sprint's network. Which has better coverage than T-mobile but is so slowwwwwww.

I will be doing the same thing. Not leaving VM though. I am torn between switching to the Victory or S2 Titanium. I was supposed to get a new phone for Fathers Day, but there is a delay so I can mull over which one to go with for a few more days. Leaning towards the S2 because of the larger screen (I'm getting old ya know), bigger battery and better camera. I like Samsung products so this is a tough decision.

My eyes are getting older too. That's why I would recommend the S2 as the SAMOLED+ screen is not only bigger, but the better contrast sharpens the images. Thsi helps me read at nite. And I'm on the older version of the screen with the OG Epic.

LOL, so, you feel my pain. That's the same reasons I grabbed the MT. I had the LG Optimus V, which was/is a super phone. VM still sells them. I guess my next thought is if 4G LTE is in my area, will it work with the S2? I mean does the 4G work with a LTE network? Sorry if I sound stupid.

Lte is 4g^^^^^^^ I learned that a company can call any upgraded service 4g. team mobiles 4g used to be hspa now they are rolling out lte and still calling it 4g even though its nearly 4 times as fast as their last "4g"

Well, it's official, I am the proud owner of a new Victory. The only reason was the S2 was $249 locally and not the discounted price of $199. I am selling my Triumph if anyone is interested Motorola Triumph (Virgin Mobile)

It looks like I will be leaving the Triumph too (and VM).

I just picked up a T-Mobile LG Optimus L9 at Target with the deal they have going on now (Phone + $50 card for $210), and will activate it on the $30 100 minute, unlimited text/data plan in the morning.

My VM month runs out tomorrow, so I will have 1 day to compare them side by side.

One thing that pushed me towards getting the phone now is that the VM refill cards have very recently become very difficult, if not impossible, to get through the usual online vendors, like CallingMart and others. I did order a $25 VM online refill from WalMart.com yesterday, but the order is still pending. If I really like the new phone and service, then Heidi will probably use my WalMart VM refill for her phone, if the purchase ever completes.

I might pass the Triumph on to Heidi or to my sister who also has VM, so I might still be around here for a while checking for updates.

T-Mobile's speed is so great.. When its there. I love my S4, so since it's SIM unlocked, I'm getting the heck away from T-Mobile and hopping onto some MVNO for AT&T. EDGE in my own home is not okay.

If you don't live in a city or heavily populated centric area, don't think about T-Mobile. Their 1700 MHz HSPA+ can't penetrate walls easily and the 1900mhz LTE is taking forever to deploy. Hey, at least I have WiFi.

So far I'm not impressed with T-mobile's coverage. It's been about as bad, and sometimes worse than Virgin mobile, both around my local area and on a trip to rural West Virginia (both had almost no coverage on most places on the trip, and both are hit or miss around town). I wonder if T-Mobile's LTE would have better coverage in my local area (which does have T-mobile LTE: DC Metro area): My phone only has HPSA+.

I do like the T-mobile voice/text via WiFi feature, especially since neither TM or VM work well, if at all, in my house. Too bad voice over WiFi still uses your voice minutes.

Other than the lousy connectivity of T-mobile, the LG Optimus L9 is exactly what the Triumph should be: Everything works great so far (though it is missing the notification LED). GPS is fast, touch is very responsive and reliable, the OS is fast and responsive, etc.

Other people's Verizon phones (though they were just phones, not smart phones) worked great on the trip to rural WV. Of course, Verizon is about 3 times the price of VM/TM prepaid if you want a reasonable amount of data on a smartphone.
