Since my search feature doesn't work so well can someone send me a link to the best place to get a straight talk sim card for the n4. This is my gf's phone and she is currently with T-Mobile but wants to switch because her daughter has straight talk and has better service in this area. I think she needs one for Verizon's service area. At&t sucks around here.

I had the same problem check you tube for Sim card to micro Sim card there is a great video there I will link it in a bit there is a print off you can use that is great for that. You just cut down a regular Sim card worked great for me.
You print it off use some thin double sided sticky tape stick yours down on it and cut away with a razor.
Edit: there ya go https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6B0G_qjebJY&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Unfortunately the Nexus 4 can only operate on T-Mobile or AT&T in the US. Take your pick.

The N4 is/was great for straight talk, but they now only sell sims to run on the T-Mobile towers. They discontinued their AT&T sims earlier this year. NET10 is a sibling company that offers the AT&T Micro sim for $10. Service is $50 a month with a 1.5GB data cap.

If you go with ST T-Mobile, you can only get a regular sim, you'll have to have it cut to a micro sim.

You're only half right, if u order a GSM Unlocked Nexus 4 from Google Play store like i did, i just switched to Straight Talk this weekend, still waiting for the full swap to complete. the only problem is Straight Talk Only operates on T-Mobile now, which really sucks cause T-Mobile is the "Drop Call Carrier". and this was my primary reason for trying to leave T-Mobile in the first place, aside from cutting my monthly bill in half. so sadly i only accomplished half of my battle cause i wanted to piggyback off Verizon towers on Straight Talk but they only do that with certain phones that they sell in retailers (ie. Wal-Mart)

Yup. Also, T-Mobile arguably has the WORST data coverage in the US. I live in a city just 2 hours northeast of Vegas...not even EDGE is available here from T-Mob.
I was fortunate enough to jump to ST last summer and got an AT&T sim then. I had to have it cut down last week for my new Nexus 4 though.

For those who NEED AT&T, you can use Straight Talk's sister company, NET10. They still have AT&T sims available for about $10. The service is $50 a month and has a hard cap of 1.5 GB a month, vs the constantly moving invisible target at ST.
