sorry that im new to this video stuff but i've been reading this thread a lot and i just want to know if handbrake is the way to go in terms of doing video for my droid? (i've seen so many 'converters' out there i dont know which to go to) im looking to possibly convert DVDs and Xvids so that they play on the droid but im not too coherent on all the settings and such that you guys are giving. is it simple enough for anyone to use and get good results? or should i look at other application too?
also, is dvd and xvid (.avi) ideal to convert to play on the droid or is there another format that is preferred (or does it even matter)? what format would i convert it to.. i heard mp4 but im not really familiar with that format. is mp4 the best way to go? is it difficult to 'setup' to play with quality on the droid?
thanks for any information -- sorry im a bit illiterate with this stuff but i'd like to put some videos on my droid
thx again ~ jen ~
i usually convert to h.264 MP4.but pavtube video converter dont support protected vob, u can try dvd ripper.Pavtube DVD Ripper, Rip DVD to AVI, WMV, & MPEG
I prefer Pavtube one because of its fast conversion speed and its pretty good output video and audio whcih satisfy me,so u dont worry with quality
