Does the new bill include the crucial part of Glass-Steagall, the separation of retail and 'lotto' - sorry, investment - banking? It would be truly excellent - actually, make that utterly astounding - if it did. It would also pretty much guarantee that the bill would not get passed: the banking lobby would never, ever allow that!
Amazing that Republicans are involved in reviving any part of Glass-Steagall, though. Be the end of their careers if it did pass!
