What? room superstitions?? LOL!!

Are you asking for any ROM suggestions with the ability to overclock?

Are you unlocked and rooted with TWRP installed yet?

If so, then I recommend either CleanROM or Paranoid Android. I've already posted the info for the PA ROM here in this section. If you want to try CleanROM, you'll have to go to XDA. I'll provide a link.

will both of them work with the dock? and no not yet its not even rooted its going to be done by a friend tomorrow (as you might of guesed im not to hot with all of this) all he has asked me to do is pick a ROM, i just need to make this tablet faster !!

Yes, both have full functioning dock features. The main difference between CleanROM and Paranoid Android is GPS. GPS is fully functional with CleanROM. It can be used with Paranoid Android, it just needs to be activated with some script change after each reboot.

I would go with CleanROM if I were you. Just make sure that you read EVERYTHING in the installation instructions!!!!!

You'll need to flash the ROM then flash a patch that fixes a few things. You will also need to install the kernel installer. I HIGHLY recommend using the Unter TF300T kernel. It will clock up to 1.6ghz and is the only kernel besides stock that allows for the front facing camera to work.

ALSO, YOU WILL NOT NEED TO ROOT YOUR TABLET IF YOU INSTALL A CUSTOM ROOTED ROM.

YOU WILL NEED TO INSTALL ADB WITH FASTBOOT TOO. EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW CAN EITHER BE FOUND IN THE INDEX THREAD AND THE CLEANROM THREAD.

GOOD LUCK AND REMEMBER THAT THE TF300T IS VERY EASY TO BRICK!! MAKE SURE THE PERSON DOING IT KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING WITH ADB AND FASTBOOT!!

i am now fully rooted and operational i have clockwork mod, easyrom 3.4.1, and overclocked to 1.8 it all seems to be working great but i cant seem to take screen shots any more i have downloaded a couple of apps but i cant seem to get them to work any suggestion?

Sorry, i'm not familiar with the ROM. You can try going into the screenshot app and clearing the data.

As for ROM selection, I would strongly recommend going with an AOSP ROM over stock ASUS ROM. However, that is just my opinion. If you do decide to go that route, check out AOKP, ParanoidAndroid, or CM10.1.

are these compatible with the dock? as this is a must for me. Thanks for your feedback

AFAIK, AOKP and CM10.1 work with the dock, but some features may still be buggy. You would have to search through their independent threads on XDA to find out for certain.

What's the best rom that you guys are now using that supports the dock? I'm still on clockwork but I'm a Lil bored of it now

I'm still on the old JB bootloader and running one the the CM10 nightlies. From the looks of all the activity on XDA, there are quite a few ROMs that have dock support for the newer bootloader. You've just got to do a little reading. The OP for the ROMs should let you know if it has dock support. If not, ask.

I've thought about updating my bootloader but I just can't bring myself to do it. The CM10 nightly I'm running right now is fully functional, dock and all plus the Perf kernel I added helps out tremendously. I'm happy with it so why change?
