Speed dialling

I am using the stock dialler, or I would have said otherwise. :)

1. So am I.
2. Neither of your 'listed devices' is the Xperia Z, so the fact wasn't obvious.

10.3.1.A.0.244, generic ES rom. The option is definitely there, as I checked before posting.

Well it isn't here in my 10.3.1.A.0.244, generic UK release. The only two options in the dialler menu are "Clear call log" and "Hide call log". There's also a thread at XDA about the feature, where the only solution appears to be a modded phone.apk.

I don't post here much any more, so haven't kept my profile up to date. I would have thought it obvious that I have a Z and was talking about how to access the option on a Z though, being that this is the Xperia Z section. :)
I'm not sure if you think I'm lying about the option being there, but why would I?

I suppose it's possible that the option has been disabled in the UK software, but I don't see why that would be the case.
Edit: I found the thread on XDA that you're talking about. It's quite old and refers to 434 firmware, but it appears that the option is indeed available in some regions firmware and not in others, which seems a strange decision on Sony's part.
So, in the end, we're both right. ;)

Not at all. We see a great deal of posts in the device fora from non-users simply attempting to help others. Nine times out of ten the device doesn't matter..... then #10 is a case like this. ;)

The thought never occurred to me.

I never doubted what you stated, only the logic (?) of Sony including the feature in one EU locale and not another. No matter how I look at it, it still seems crazy. Not to mention unfair.
