Help Improve Benchmark Results

Just did a benchmark test on my LG G2 and the results are a bit disappointing.

I thed the Antutu Benchmark app.

Lest make this a post to improve our LG G2 devices.

I will let my phone be the ginny pig since I see my phone as such a disappointment.
Whatever tips you post. I will do on my phone and then post an update of the results after I done the update.
This way, others can see where the phone improves most and can decide for themselves what changes they should make on theirs to have the results they want.

I know that some people are getting better results than the Note 3.
If we can make my phone get better results than the Note 3, than anybody can improve their phone using the same tips in this thread.

I have a T-Mobile LG G2

I have the verizon version. Why exactly do you feel that you received a bad score? It's not too far off from mine. Before every benchmark, i clear all of the apps in memory. Can you show me of scores higher than the note 3? I'm not discrediting just my friend has a note 3 and he beat me in 3 tests by a few thousand.

I let it charge to full capacity through the Battery Doctor app by KS Mobile. I like that app for 2 reasons. 1, cause it tells you how much time til it finishes charging. And 2 cause it has easy access to the battery saving options.

So anyway... after I charged it. I restarted it. Then let it sit for an hour. I ate dinner and started watching a movie.
I restarted it again. Acknowledged and deleted all notifications. Restarted again. And then ran the Antutu Benchmark app again. Then I got the results in this picture.
Screenshot_2013-10-24-17-43-23_zps03835faf.png

and as I'm typing, I'm running it again.. and the RESULTS BECAME LOWER

now... my question is.. how do we keep the G2 running at max performance at all times? not just right after a restart? cause logically after a restart other apps will start running in the background.. even without being in the notifications tray.. is there an app that blocks other apps from running in the background, and only lets them run if you open the app yourself? or is that an idea for someone to create an app like that.. instead of a simple task killer app.. an app that prevents other apps from starting up in the background.. get it ?

Dude who cares about a benchmark score just enjoy the phone for what it is. Besides that score is not too far from the note 3 and that is with all of Samsung cheating going on.

see that... the three of you guy's phones are over 34k
I'm not chasing benchmark numbers nor am I unsatisfied with my phones performance. I just want to get the most out of my phone as possible.

I figure there has to be a way to push my phone to its max potential.. I want to know how to do it.

Its only logical to want to get the most out of a phone no matter which one it is.. we all pay a substantial price for them, right?

If the 3 of you have such high numbers.. there has to be a reason why mine isn't scoring as well..

mine is from T-Mobile.. not sure if that has anything to do with it...
Any ideas on how to push it to its max potential ?

Mine is VZW and I did nothing special. I just ran it without clearing anything. I am rooted, but I dont think that has anything to do with it.

Mine is a Verizon variant that is stock I did nothing special to it. And by the looks of it I had the best bench mark score for what it is worth, So take it at what it is worth. My first score I did when I got it was 35863 so a little less then the one I ran and posted here. So I did nothing special, did not clear any apps or anything else.

Why do you care about benchmarks that much? They are worthless now a days. You are not going to see any difference in performance in todays phones. The hardware has caught up with the software and the the $600 dollars phone is performing at just about the same rate as the mid range phone. Just take a look at the Moto X and the Iphone 5S. Those phones are both duel core and you can't even tell the difference between them and a Snapdragon 800 phone.

Just relax and enjoy your phone for what it is. In a few months there will be a whole new crop of phones that are going to leave the LG G2 in the dust. That is not going to mean the G2 is bad. In fact, it will still be a fantastic phone at a discount!

I have the lg flex and i have the same problem. I restart and then run the test the after clearing cache the score is higher. I rerun and it gets lower. After trial and error i found if you keep your phone in a really cool environment the score stays consistent and even gets higher than before. I ran my car air conditioner and put my phone right next to it to keep it really cool as i was running the tests. I found when the phone stayedcreally cool the test were much higher. Im not surprised but i guess when you run the benchmarks your phone gets warm and the warmer it gets the scores become lower.

Its because yourvphonebis cool. Rerun the test in a really cool environment like next to some sort of cooler your phone will have much higher scores. The cooler your phone stays the better the scores. Try rerunning the test over and over in noemal environments and youll notice the scores go down because your phone gets hot. I dont know if its a tempature safety feature on phones that throttlesvthem down or if they just get better results in cool environments.
