Did anyone ever get back to you on this via PM?

In case anyone else is in a similar boat and wondering, my experience of this phone, having owned it for 6 days now, is that it is very good for the price. I had a Galaxy Note until recently but it died on me. When I sent it to phone-hospital I thought it was going to be a routine operation, but I was warned it would be a few weeks, and I couldnt do weeks without a smartphone so I got myself a second hand Tipo to bridge the gap. This morning I got a call saying the operation had not gone as well as hoped, the doctors did everything they could but my phone had gone to "a better place".

If anyone is struggling with my metaphor, let me put it simply: the phone would cost more to fix that replace, so I should jog on.

I digress. But the point is I now understand that my Tipo is not the stop gap I envisaged, it could now be my phone until next May when my contract is up, unless I want to put my hand in my pocket for a high-spec phone. I expect I probably will in the end because this phone is pretty small (especially when you are used to a Note), but I have to say Ive been impressed with it.

Thinking about it, this phone could be described as The AntiNote. It is strong where my old phone is weak, and weak where it was strong. So strengths: battery life and responsiveness. It can do a whole day of heavy usage no problem (my Note could get through a battery in a few hours with heavy use) and there is no lag. Weaknesses: the size makes it cramped to type with and the screen quality is pretty woeful. My days of watching films on my phone on trains (phone plugged in of course) are over.

But if what you want is a device that keeps you connected to your emails and isnt going to die on you while you are out and about, for a small outlay, I would say this phone is bang on the money. I was delighted with it until this morning when I found out my other phone wasnt coming back. Now I slightly wish I had paid more and got a better replacement because I do prefer bigger phones.
