Okay, is being an a-hole a person who is vigilant when they spend a lot on a purchase and wants to make sure it get's handled correctly, or is it someone who sits back and passes judgement on everyone else calling them a-holes?

And really, if the only problems you got is having to sift through extraneous posts, I wish I was in your shoes! Did your scrolling finger get sprained? There are worse problems to have. They are not calling you, so why do you take this as personal?

And if you read her post, she's getting it because she called in.

Definitely not jealous. Every Stanley Cup winner is one series away from being knocked of their thrown. You cannot win forever.

this is all very frustrating; I cehcked my order status yesterday -- it said order had been processed and I would receive the Inc in 2-3 business days -- Wednedday at the latest I figured; no tracking number yet though. Then I got two separate emails from VZW customer service; one said the order would ship on the 29th and the other saying it would ship the 28th. Are there different databases the VZW representatives are looking at that would explain the various answers I am getting?

I agree it's been very frustrating for a lot of us. From "lost'' orders, overnight shipping issues. From what I've got from my experience & from other members here is that 611 can't 'see the pre-orders' in their system until they are processed. The Internet Sales people have a better idea about what's going on. 866-338-7930

Hate the idea of responding to such moronic logic, but this will be my last post on this thread so...why not. Yes, people who are acting like idiots or a-holes often need to be reminded for the good of society and a good thread. Kindly at first and then perhaps with more emphasis.

Since you are new to this, the reason the thread is virtually useless now is because people don't understand that 500 posts about the same shipping issues, when there is a thread devoted to the topic, means that general Incredible posts get pushed off the page and people like me who jump on a few times a day - have to spend an hour paging through bs whiny posts. Yes, it's a hassle and an unnecessary waste of my time, which I take personally since I've invested a month of worthwhile contributions to this thread. Just one example - I posted an article early this morning about Wireless N not being on the phone - a great and meaningful topic for this thread...but no one will see it because there are now 3 pages of silly (mostly useless) shipping posts...

Oh well, good luck to everyone. As vzw has said since day one, if you order by 4pm on the 28th, you'll get your phones on the 29th. The first bitchy post should have been posted on the evening of April 29 (or maybe on the 28th if you haven't received tracking info by then).

Last request, please stay on this thread and don't start going to other threads here - they are still ok, not a lot of whining and helpful people. I'm off to join kappy, mm, steven and others!

Talked to a csr today about shipping. I was polite like I always am. But some interesting points came out. I paid 9 dollars for overnight shipping. Well on fedex it shows as 2day. So that was the reason I was calling in. She said even though I have a tracking number through fedex and it shows at the Memphis location that it would not ship till the 28th and I would get it on the 29th. I said well what about people that had 2 day shiping and she said they will get it on the 30th. I pretty much think she has no clue what she was talking about. I asked her if it was ok and it did take 2 days to get to me that I get a refund on the shipping. Now its just a waiting game to see who is right lol.

A few days back I addressed this, but I know how hard it is to find info here, so...

When I pre-ordered, I selected "overnight shipping." But when I called to ask about this, the VZW CSR said "That should not have been on the Web site--your shipping offers are specific to your company's plan with us, and your order pages always show them. But these phones are all being shipped using the same free rate. You can ask for your a credit for your "overnight" shipping change after you activate."

Actually if you look, I've been on as long as you and have around the same posts. I have contributed as well when I had something to contribute. The only time I have gone after anyone is when they go after others. How about let the mods and guides police it and just deal with contributing and reading.

Mine is on the same truck. I live in LA. I can't imagine that it would take them 2 days to get it from Ontario to LA.

FedEx Ground would even get it here in 1 day.

That is what I figured and why I did not flip out lol. I will just wait and when I can prove it to them I will get a refund. No use flipping out.

I live in North San Diego mine will make it to the Carlsbad Hub so from there it will be delivered to me tomorrow as it is shipping to a business and typically they don't hold shipments for 2nd day if they can.

Anyone else in San Diego.

My tracking info came in last night, said it was picked up in Memphis and at the facility late last night. Today I am getting the old "shipping info delivered" line and it moved my delivery date and time one more day. Not a big deal, just figured the storms must have modified it...

Anyway, if anyone needs a 50% ZAGG code you are welcome to it:

I am looking for the Verizon Hard Holster Case, can anyone help. I looked back on the threads and could not find it. I have one on Storm and it is the best case I ever had.

I ordered one for myself last week & I should be getting it a day or two before the phone.
I have the shell/holster case for my Droid & it's the best case I've ever owned.
I just called VZ customer service and gave them the Part# that I got from the Launch Package document (see page 1 of this thread)

The Part number for the Shell/Holster Combo is VZW6300HOC

I was 'confused' b/c my order was in limbo and I wanted to know what was up. I placed my order on 4/19 @1:00-ish PM.
I didn't call a CSR rep until Saturday. 611 told me that I had to speak with Internet Sales. They were closed (no fit thrown)...
Got an email Saturday night from the Credit Dept., got antsy b/c they were closed until 8am this morning.....
Called this morning & answered their inquiry about my acct. (no fit thrown).
The rep said that the phone should arrive Wednesday (no fit thrown),
I mentioned the overnight promo and the rep saw that I did pre-order before 4pm on Monday so she gave it to me (no fit thrown)...

What exactly is your problem with me?? You seem to have something negative to say in reply to my posts. I'm sorry if my 'online presence' annoys you or something.

One can catch more flies with honey than vinegar. I really want this phone so I've been throwing out nothing but honey. Throwing temper tantrums and fits don't work when you want something from someone... I learned that when I was 2

Hey everyone... Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still here, and though I'm on vacation I am still checking the site almost daily and I WILL be at the Verizon story early before they open on the 29th here where I am to get the Incredible! Hope all of my friends are doing well and everyone is still as excited as I am! I'll probably post again on Thursday, from my new phone!

Been reading for a long time, just decided to post now that I ordered my phone. I did mine through the business website as I could not do it over the phone. I am porting an AT&T number over so I wasn't sure if I could do it, but it worked pretty well. I actually got the phone for $169.99 somehow through our business account. Picked overnight shipping, so we'll see when it actually ships. Probably wont get it before Thursday, but oh well.

Very Excited!

One goes to LA, another one to SD, third one to airport... and so on. Anyway, I am in LA with fingers crossed, hoping we'll see our orders tomorrow ;)
