it could also be in your /cache or /data folder.... but that would require a root explorer....

This is weird this update coming to vm now there is no talk of the sprint s3 getting the update on the sprint foum !!

Did you try going to settings, update, samsung software? came up for me, but I'm rooted so I won't download it just yet. I'm in wheeling wv. Also any idea when will your rom have 4.3? so rooters can have 4.3?

The last leaked update schedule was nearly spot on for updates.

If VM bothered to update us to 4.3, maybe they'll be kind enough to give us 4.4 (especially with them being a Spring subsidiary).

I just wish I had the stock 4.4 Kit Kat phone and dialer. The rest of touchwiz I would love to keep. especially the motion gestures and stuff like that.

As long as you've updated Google Search (Google Now) and Google Play Services in the Play Story, you could always download the KitKat launcher. I did this and it relieves a little bit of the Touchwiz ugliness.
