Looking for long car holder

Hi,

Almost all the car holders I've seen (which stick onto your window), hold your phone quite far away from you.

Any out there that have a longer than normal arm, so that you can text and stuff comfortably? (whilst car is stationary of course).

Rather than hold the phone to the window, if you have a CD player in the car, look ino the Mountek mount. It's all I've used since I discovered it.

Thanks, thats a nice suggestion. But I'm right handed and in UK it's left sided drive =)

Sounds like it's exactly what you are looking for. If you look at my sig link and all the reviews I have done on AF, you can see that I went through almost every single car mount (didn't do Mountek, but exogear latest one has the same CD slot mount). I've had a quick look at your review, it seems very detailed. If you dont mind me being a little lazy, if I wanted my phone at around level with the steering wheel, what equipment would I need?

I noticed some mention of an extension arm, would the holder and extension arm do the job? And if so, which extension arm would I need? No problem using external battery case or any rugged case, those extension arm/grips with rubberized inner lining will hold it tightly with enough of extra room. I'm using it with my Note 2 and 9300mAh Zerolemon battery and there is room to spare.

I don't know what car you have, so it's kind of hard to suggest exactly which extension will work best in your car, but the one I mentioned before is: Slim-Grip

Thank you Twister, that's awesome! The extension length is just perfect, 14-18", maybe even a tad too long lol but I can live with that. Didnt seem to be any UK suppliers except very expensive ones on ebay, so I ordered from American Amazon.

Looking forward to no longer having my Galaxy in my lap whilst I drive!
