Since finding the Zagg shields, I've never used anything else. They may be a bit expensive, but they fit, they adhere, they're easy to put on ... no, I don't work for them, but finding a great product is pretty rare these days.
So, about a month ago, my wife and I bought Note 3 phones. Zagg shields, of course. Put the shields on, no problem, right? Someone, in their infinite (total lack of) wisdom decides to send out an OTA change of some kind. (I think it was something important, like changing the color of one of the keys on the keyboard.) But their OTA process evidently doesn't check the state of, and discharge rate of, the battery. So the OTA starts and my battery dies. I wake up to a $700 brick - which, of course, has to go back to Android heaven for whatever they're going to do up there. (BTW, this is my fault - I have to pay to get the phone replaced? Really?)
What has this got to do with Zagg? It's not their problem, right? They're sending me a new shield for about $3 (which is like 90% off the actual price, and probably represents a large part of the shipping and handling cost). Why? The shield didn't break. It didn't slip. It's STILL perfect (even though it's now pasted to a piece of paper).
When Zagg says "lifetime guarantee", they seem to mean it. Not that many companies do these days. ("Oh, the product broke? Well, that's the end of its lifetime, then, isn't it?")
Just thought I'd name one of the good guys for a change.
