My nexus 7 reports having downloaded Android 4.3 (a 1.7mb OTA which claims it will improve performance and battery life and add restricted profiles) however my nexus 7 has been running Android 4.3 for many months, I installed it by flashing the stock 4.3 image. When I try and take this update everything seems to be going smoothly, then halfway through the update process I get an error screen and I have to reboot the device. I've also attempted to install Kitkat from adb sideload but I recieve the se "error" message.

Some more info: 32GB wifi nexus 7
In the past I received this same error when trying to flash some custom roms but then after many attempts the rom would flash but this is not the case with the updates. I have had custom recoveries likes twrp and cwm in the past but am currently running stock recovery
