I'm not sure what is causing my problem. I installed JD Free in hopes it would solve the problem but have had mixed results.
I have a Samsung S3 SGH-1747 running stock rom on Tmobile. I've had it for about six months purchased used. I noticed this problem from day one.
I am a light user, seldom on the internet, half a dozen calls a day, the occasional text and no social media. I might play a game for 10 minutes twice a month. If I go online, it's to do a search or map direction.
My standby battery power varies considerably from day to day. I might go a few days where by nightfall the standby power is at 80%. Other days the battery can be exhausted after in six hours.
I have power saving enabled and Wi-Fi disabled. I can't see any unusual activity when reviewing the JD log.
Example -
13:54 Screen off
13:54 Data disabled
13:54 Disconnected
14:18 Schedule start
14:18 Data enabled
14:18 Connected: mobile
14:18 AutoSync ping
14:19 Schedule stop
14:20 Data disabled
14:20 Disconnected
14:48 Schedule start
14:48 Data enabled
14:48 Connected: mobile
14:48 AutoSync ping
14:49 Schedule stop
The schedule is consistent whether I'm getting 6 hours or 48 hours of battery power.
Thanks for any positive advice.
