The Official Accessory Thread

I am a heavy user and I travel a lot so I picked up the I-Blason battery case. I can see that this thing is going to come in handy. It gives you more than double your battery life, another 2,500 mah. It does make the phone much bigger so if that bothers you then you may not want this however I honestly felt like this phone naked was dainty, almost too thin so I don't mind. It protects the phone all around well with the exception of the screen. One cool little feature on it is that it makes the speaker face front which is a much better position than the original so you don't accidentally block the speaker with this case on. For the price I think it's a great deal.

Update: I am returning this. It doesn't work with several of my chargers and after a few days is not recharging.

I am going to get the official bumper case and a limeade portable charger for when I travel.

Does yours stick to walls like I've seen people mention?

I mean the bottom of mines sticky, but it wont even hold up its own weight, let alone hold a phone upright.

Maybe mine needs a wash

The grip on mine is pretty strong on a flat horizontal surface, but I would never trust it on a vertical wall. As far as I can tell, it is engineered to use the tacky surface *with* gravity to give it very stable grab on a surface. It is not meant to fight against gravity.

These are just my impressions. I love it! :)

Or this one:

There are two output sockets, one for Apple products and the other for non-Apple products. I'm not sure why they specify them so, as the output voltage is the same, but I understand that there is some other difference in the power requirements of the two.

An interesting point. Anyone know why, or what those differences might be?

I'm looking for a case similar to one I saw for a galaxy S3. It's a wallet case without pockets, and the phone fits in a plastic bumper that attaches to the wallet with magnets. Removing and replacing the phone in the wallet is quick and easy with the magnetic hold. Smart wake would be preferable. I have no idea of the brand or style or any search terms that will make a case like this stand out from all the others. Suggestions?

As a typically critical person, I had the Diztronic TPU case for my N4 and had no complaints for a year. When I received the N5, case choices were limited so I waited until Diztronic's was available. I can't find any complaints to tell you about. Looks and feels good and it's been dropped a few times without damaging the phone. Very solid choice if you want a slim case.

I have been using this one since i got my Nexus 5.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00FJJ38HY/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It works well and does what it says on the tin.
I recently took my phone out of it to give the case a clean (its a pretty good grease magnet) and realised how much thickness the case adds to it.

Has anybody got/used a bumper style case? IE just goes around the edges, no back cover, to keep the thinness of the phone.

Anyone try any of these chargers?

NEW QI Wireless Charger Transmitter MAT FOR Nokia Lumia 920 Nexus 4 5 | eBay

NEW Black Cylindrical QI Wireless Charger Charge PAD FOR NEXUS4 5 LUMIA920 820 | eBay

I'm curious about wireless charging, but I don't want to shell out $50 for one.

What do you reckon?

EDIT: Ordered two of these QI Wireless Power Charger FOR Iphone Samsung Galaxy S3 S4 NOTE2 Nexus Black RED | eBay (one for me, one for wifey). I'll let you bros know how they go.
I have not used either of those, but just started using the Anker one and have a Tylt one also. Both work fine with my Nexus 5. The Tylt one works well with the Nexus 4 too. Have not tried the Nexus 4 on the Anker one as of yet.

The RINGKE SLIM. This case makes the phone feel....like a PHONE in your hand. It's nearly unnoticeable. There is almost no bulk added; it fits tight as a drum. Colors: black, white, seafoam. I have the black and white (my Nexus is the black/white 2-tone). The black feels a bit rubberized and is much grippier than the white, which is very slick. I prefer the black grippier case, but that's just me. The white looks great on the phone as well. Money well spent and it's not a lot of money!!!
Here is the link to the case:
