Latest Version for Galaxy Tab 10.1

4.2.2 received a small (68mb) update to all versions early last week. That stopped the problem of not shutting down (in most reported cases this was the issue) as well as the boot loop. The buttons remain in the middle and for me important, no longer reverts back from whatever keyboard app you use, back to std Samsung keyboard.
Use wise is an improvement over 4.0.4 which was my stock. But not really over 4.1.2

Spikes

That update also added the apps on sd card menu to the application manager menu and fixed the lag in the notification window.

mine's been an infestation of cockroaches since the update. it often has issues connecting to apps, Samsung Apps freezes the entire UI, and it gets very laggy for no apparent reason. sometimes i have to force reboot it five or six times. i would stick with 4.1.2. but the 'latest' it can run depends on whether you're rooted, or would prefer to live without TouchWiz. i managed to get KitKat (Android version 4.4.2) to run on it one time. the most common bug with 4.2.2 right now is when you load an app (say, YouTube or Play Store) and it instantly claims no internet connection, and you have to back out to home, open settings, clear data and force stop, and open it again, when it would then work fine. seems a lot of unnecessary extra steps for no reason. i'm also not a fan of the uber-white settings and toggles menus. my phone has 4.3 and stayed with the nicer inverted color scheme, and i would just revert my Tab 2 back to 4.1.2 if XDA had a pre-rooted ROM, but currently you'd have to do the long, awful process of unrooting it, going into ODIN or Kies, and do it the hard way. the only ROMs on XDA regarding stock are all 4.2.2. sucks. i'd wipe and revert in an instant to get my stability back
