I'm going to sell my motorola x, I have only had this phone for like almost 3 months. I love this phone, but is because the touchless controls and the fact that it feels like a phone.

I want to sell mine but it has my name on the back and also when you turn it on... I was wondering how to remove it without scratching it because is in perfect conditions....

I don't have any customizations on mine, but I would guess your name personalization is just in the boot animation file. You should be able to change it with root access. (I still haven't rooted mine... just not found a reason yet).

As for the back, it can be changed. However, according to all reports, it isn't very easy. But perhaps that's because they were trying to keep their original backs intact. They can crack when pulled off too quickly. Since you're not keeping yours, it may not be such an issue. New backs are found easily on eBay. Do a quick Google/Bing search for recommendations of who sells the better fitting (most like OEM) backs.

If you don't mind a little bit of tech work and some small additional expenses, you can replace the back cover yourself. I would research what customized phones are going for and see if it is worth your cost to replace it and sell it without the customization.

FYI, I don't know what is in that "iOpener" bag they show, but I bet you could get the same thing by filling a sock with rice. It looks like a basic heating pad and that is what most of them are.
