Yup it's here. Let me know if it buggers up your phone and I'll hold off lol

Same firmware but with added Vodafone apps only works well here. Battery is better, device feels slightly slicker no problems so far. KitKat is a little underwhelming as far as the Note 3 is concerned and what you can actually see, but all is good otherwise.

I learned a long LONG time ago that stressing over promised updates is pure fools folly. I no longer get involved with conversations about when it's going to come and if it's going to come. It come when it comes. In the mean time, I'm going to enjoy what I have. I only read the first post in this thread and just thought I'd throw my two cents in here. I'm gone now. :D

So you've just contradicted yourself there lol.
Mine seems a bit laggy typing.... Will do a quick restart....

Is it better? Oh yes. Certainly quicker. Will see what happens to the battery.

Well kit kat is fast I will give it that! Only had it an hour. my phone was 100% charged and plugged in during update now it's dropped to 90% so looks like battery is draining much faster for now but I will give it a few days for the battery to settle with the new os and it should improve. Nothing much to show on the outside apart from the notification bar, all icons are now white and the bar itself is transparent :) a few tweaks on the swipe lock screen but nothing special. I know 99% of the changes are under the hood and hopefully these will make my phone the best thing since sliced bread ( what was the best thing before slice bread? ) anyway so far so good! lots of playing to be done

there is a potential battery drain issue where people have a work around of restarting the phone ...before bed(?!) which stops it. Google are working on a nexus fix so we should see it in 2016.

No battery drain issue here. Downloaded it last night while my phone was charging. It's been unplugged a bit over 9hrs (admittedly most of that was overnight while sleeping) and it's at 91%. I used it a bit before bed, kept Wifi on overnight and have used it a bit this morning. Looking at the battery info I need to find out why HD Widgets has used the most as I don't have it set up lol.

One thing I did notice though is, the red led light wasnt on when it was charging. I unplugged and restarted the phone but, still no red light, option is still switched on from before the upgrade, even toggled that off and on again. Anyone else have this issue?

Yeah the screen was completely off. What I realised though is when I was charging it, it had gone into the time where I have blocking mode on which disables notifications/led light. It doesn't need charging yet :)O) but, I've plugged it in this morning briefly and the light is on now so I think for myself that was the reason why. Never charged it at that time of night before so don't know if it was the same on Jelly Bean.

Yes blocking mode for notifications turns it off as well. I have no idea if it was the same on JB either.
