Hi every1.

Just a quick question.
i have had my s4 now since aug last year and i love it to bits. its amazin. thing is i was wondering if any one on here uses a macro lense for the s4? and if they do how to they find it? where did you get it from?.. and if you do use it could you maybe post a picture that you took? .. thanks in advance for any help ;)

As lotus says, if good camera lenses sell for hundreds of dollars, what do you think you can expect from a $25 single element lens? Hold magnifying glass (not 49 cent cheap plastic, a real glass lens) in front of the phone's camera lens (you can see when the image is focused) and you'll probably get better quality pictures. Not much, but better.

(We once tested barcode scanners - all the way from $19 "pen" type to $900 real barcode scanners. The "lenses" in the cheap ones looked as if someone had heated a plastic rod and caught the drippings in water. They were sort of round pieces of plastic. The "lenses" in the $10 macro lenses for cellphones might not be much better. If Tiffen, or some other photographic company, made macro lenses for cellphones, I'd have more confidence in buying one.)

BTW, the Macro function in Camera FV-5 isn't bad. You can't have the camera lens touching the thing you're taking a picture of, but you can get closer than the standard camera apps. And it's free. Don't like it? Just uninstall it.
