I have a bad right hand and cannot hold the phone still when taking a picture while pressing the shutter button with my right fingers. However I would be able to hold it still if the shutter button were on the left side of the screen.

I do not own this phone yet. If I turn the phone upside down, does the shutter button end up on the left side or does it adjust to stay over on the right side?

If it adjusts to stay over on the right side, Is there a way to customize the layout so that the shutter button is on the left side of the screen?

Thank you!

Hello and welcome dropspoon!
Interesting question and I had to try it myself. :D

It seems that the shutter button switches sides when the phone is flipped 180 degrees.
So, to test it and make sure that the picture does not flip 180 degrees also, I took 2 pix.....one pic (with the phone in landscape mode) with the shutter button on the right, and one pic with the shutter button on the left.
Both pictures looked correct (not upside down).

Now, bear in mind I am on a custom rom that is based off of the stock 4.3.
I can only assume that a non-rooted, stock device is the same way.

I would wait for others to confirm what I found out:)
