Sitting here today playing with my new computer and phone. Just chillin, drinking a few Bud lights. All good with the rom, kernel and messaging. Just checked it on my end.

I had the worst hangover ever ever since like 5am Saturday morning until about 10:30 this morning. I was finally able to check out the new ROM yesterday some what. I must say I'm not exactly sure how to use it, I don't have a notification bar, and the gravity box system framework won't respond maybe I did something wrong :thinking:

Try wiping data and flashing again. It sounds like you have some residual files left over from your previous rom.

edit: make sure you install the framework first per the instructions at the bottom of the OP or GravityBox won't work.

Still no notification bar, and the gravity box system framework still won't respond . I'm going to try a fresh download of the ROM and redo it . Could using Philz touch have something to do with it ?I wasn't using CWM

No clue. I can't verify any of it works lol. What is everyone else using to flash the rom successfully?

I used philz but got red triangle of death no app available after reboot. Manual push of apk & permissions set did nothing to cause apk to appear in drawer

Which apk are you referring to? Mms.apk? If so which one? Sorry, need more info.

I still have not notification bar. am I supposed to enable it or something? or is it supposed to be there as soon as you boot up the phone. I didn't even try the framework yet I'm going to try and do it via cwm. Thats the only thing I can think of to do right now. I would take a screenshot but i'm not able to do it.

boot animation works just fine and on the black mms tweak when searching for a contact the text is white cursor is white against a white text box the whole box right there is unchanged besides the text and cursor like mentioned other than that seems to be working just fine and is all black with white text except the blue boxes the messages are in btw how can i change those

Are you saying you don't have the status bar? It is the thing at the top that holds the clock, signal bars, etc. If so, I have no idea why that would be happening. I think everyone else has a status bar :thinking:

I didn't have a status bar all day at work wallpaper wasn't showing either.? I received notifications but I didn't know because it was no sound or bar just the led light?

Sounds like there may be a problem. Did you flash with PhilZ or CWM?

i am downloading the v2 and will install via philz ill let you know whether or not i have any problems with the notifications/status bar and ill get back with you about the black tweaked mms after i reinstall it on your rom

edit finished installing and there is no wallpaper just black screen and notification bar is nonexistant and trying to install gravity box as following directions i get gravitybox system framework not responding exiting

another edit after installing the systemui test 6 wallpaper and notification bar are back in order
