Root CWM Recovery

Hey guys my name is Michael and I'm pretty tech savvy but I need some help here.
OK so I have a LG Lucid 2 and I love it and eventually I rooted it via framaroot and it worked flawlessly. Then I found out there was only one rom , Lucidian and I love it too. Well as you know Lucidian has CWM recovery in the settings by default, so I applied it right? OK so here's the problem, I've been able to get into it about 3 times because you're supposedly suppose to toggle the volume up/down buttons while booting and it works.... Sometimes. Now you see if the only con about was that you had to time it perfectly then everything would be dandy but it isn't. I have currently wiped my phone 4 times trying to get into CWM recovery because of the fact that toggling the up volume button hard data wipes it without a prompt unlike when you hold down volume button to hard factory reset it. So what I want help with is accessing CWM recovery because data wiping Lucidian is freaking annoying because then it wipes Google keyboard so you have to go to Google chrome and use Google voice to search for Kii keyboard apk. Its just annoying.

The problem is that this phone doesn't have a true ClockworkMod recovery. What you're using on it is "2nd-init recovery" which was made for another phone which is basically an app that loads cwm on boot. Unlike a true cwm recovery that gets flashed to its own partition on the phone and therefore always will work.

The only way to fix this is to build cwm recovery for this phone. I don't own this phone so I can't help you with that. Another solution is to stick with the stock rom.
